Job summary

Superior is seeking a Benefits Administrator to join our Human Resources team in Columbus, Ohio. You will manage day-to-day benefits, retirement, disability, and leave processes while collaborating with leaders across the organization.

A bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and 3–5 years of benefits experience are required; CEBS certification and self-funded plan experience are a plus. This on-site role based at our Columbus headquarters offers a comprehensive benefits package and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, and/or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience with benefits administration (not entry level).
• CEBS certification is a bonus.
• Experience with self-funded health plans is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administration of all benefit plans, processing for group health, ancillary, retirement, and disability.
• Respond to benefit inquiries and concerns from employees or direct to vendors as appropriate.
• Execute annual benefit open enrollment.
• Oversee and administer leave requests and accommodations (FMLA, ADA, LOA, short/long-term disabilities).
• Ensure vendors deliver high-quality services and meet performance standards.
• Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations; ensure compliance locally and state-wide.
• Manage benefit audits and reporting processes.
• Handle benefit compliance annual filings (EEO, 5500, ACAs, etc.).
• Plan and execute enrollment processes, coordinating communication.
• Provide benefit education during new hire orientation.
• Analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness and identify improvements.
