Job summary

LSI Industries Inc. is seeking a Senior Benefits Specialist for our Blue Ash, OH headquarters. You will lead administration of comprehensive benefit programs, drive Open Enrollment, and partner with brokers, vendors, and HR teams to enhance employee experience.

The role requires 5+ years of benefits administration, expertise in health and welfare and retirement plans, and strong analytical and project management skills. ADP experience is a plus; CEBS is a bonus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience administering employee benefit programs.
• Strong expertise in health and welfare plans, retirement plans, leave administration, and compliance.
• Experience working with brokers, insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and benefit vendors.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and recommend improvements.
• Experience with HRIS and benefits administration systems (ADP experience is a plus).
• Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration of medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), stock plans, wellness initiatives, and leave programs.
• Serve as trusted advisor for employees, managers, HR partners, and benefit vendors.
• Drive annual Open Enrollment from planning to audits.
• Lead HRIS enhancements, vendor implementations, process improvements, and acquisition integrations.
• Partner with brokers and vendors to improve benefit offerings and employee experience.
• Analyze benefit trends, utilization, and costs to recommend solutions and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, and related regulations.
• Coordinate leave administration and disability programs while providing exceptional support.
• Develop employee communications and wellness initiatives to maximize benefits.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, and HR for accurate administration and reporting.
