NewMarket Corporation in Richmond, VA, is seeking a Sr Benefits Supervisor to administer North America benefits programs including health, welfare, savings and pension plans. You will shape plan design, ensure compliance, communicate changes and oversee data and invoice administration.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in HR or business and 8+ years in benefits leadership, with CBP preferred. You will partner with providers, manage open enrollment, and guide senior management on market

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in benefits leadership or similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide counsel on company-sponsored health and welfare programs for active employees and retirees.
• Oversee short- and long-term leave programs and HRIS data entry.
• Administer savings and pension plans, including 5500 filings and annual communications.
• Interface with benefit providers to resolve complex issues.
• Evaluate market trends and propose modifications to senior management.
• Oversee monthly premium payments and direct bill processes.
• Coordinate annual open enrollment with HRIS and communications to employees.
• Develop written materials and conduct informational meetings on benefits.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, DOL, and SEC regulations; reporting and testing.
• Support new hire orientations and HRIS documentation.
• Contribute to other HR projects and vacation coverage.
