State of Florida Department of Management Services is seeking a Senior Benefits Analyst for the Division of Retirement/Benefit Payments in Tallahassee, on-site. You will analyze and approve DROP terminations, refunds, and payouts, ensure payroll readiness, and supervise professional staff.

The role requires five years of related experience (degree optional), strong data analysis, and the ability to train others and improve processes.

Formación

• Five years of professional experience in retirement, insurance or related fields; a degree can substitute.
• Strong written and verbal communication; data review and problem solving.
• Ability to train others and supervise workflow in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and approve DROP Termination, refunds, and EOC payments for accuracy.
• Ensure emails and CRM requests are addressed; ensure payroll actions are completed.
• Lead professional staff; assist in scheduling and performance reviews.
• Develop procedures and provide feedback to the section administrator.
• Assist with creating, monitoring, and testing SIRS for IRIS revisions.
• Attend meetings and conduct staff meetings in the absence of the supervisor.
• Perform related duties as required.
