Job summary

The Senior Behavioral Health Referrals Associate supports Texas Child Mental Health programs within Dell Medical School, coordinating referrals for CPAN, PeriPAN, TCHATT and related services across Texas.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Referrals and External Relations, you will work with clinicians, care teams, families, and school partners, handling referrals, data entry in EMR, and outreach to expand provider networks. Some on-site work may be required, with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field with at least 3 years of related work experience.
• Substitution of education/experience may be appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Referral Management: determine appropriate referrals and track records.
• Interprofessional Collaboration: work with pediatric psychiatrists, psychologists, and staff.
• Provider and Family Support: answer inquiries and support families through referral process.
• Community Outreach and Resource Development: expand provider database and resources.
