The University of Texas at Austin seeks a Provider Behavioral Health Consultant (LPC/LCSW) to support CPAN and PeriPAN initiatives at the UT Main Campus. You will collaborate with pediatricians, OB/GYNs, and other clinicians to assess, manage, and refer pediatric and maternal behavioral health needs.

The role emphasizes outreach, coordination of care, and data-driven quality assurance, with a start date aimed at Sep 21, 2026 and a renewable end date of Aug 31, 2027.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related discipline with at least 3 year(s) of experience in professional work.
• Must be licensed in Texas as one of the following: LPC or LCSW.
• Preferred: experience working with PCPs, OB/GYN physicians, and/or family practitioners.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical support and consults to primary care providers, including assessment, diagnosis, behavioral management, and referrals.
• Coordinate with CPAN/PeriPAN psychiatrists and program coordinators for referrals and consults for children, adolescents, and mothers.
• Maintain records and data entry according to protocol and participate in supervision and quality assurance.
