Ashley Furniture in Tupelo, MS is seeking a Senior Operations Manager – Bedding to lead multi-shift production across bedding work centers. You will drive safety, quality, and cost goals while directing plant managers and frontline teams to meet output targets.

The role emphasizes Lean manufacturing, capacity planning, and strategic leadership with a strong focus on continuous improvement and talent development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Proven Lean, quality improvement, and capacity planning track record.
• Ability to obtain a powered industrial vehicle license and lead across shifts.
• Strong communication, executive presence and strategic decision making.

Responsabilités

• Direct multi-shift production operations across bedding manufacturing centers.
• Enforce SOPs, safety, and housekeeping across all shifts.
• Collaborate with schedulers and inventory to meet daily output targets.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering to maximize uptime.
• Lead capacity planning with purchasing and inventory control.
• Drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives and quality improvements.
• Manage operating budgets to balance cost with product excellence.
• Mentor frontline leaders through training and reviews.
• Oversee staffing, capacity modeling, and performance improvements.
