Ashley Furniture Industries in Saltillo, MS is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the Receiving Nights shift. The role plans, directs and assigns work in a busy manufacturing and distribution center, ensuring safety, quality and productivity.

The position requires 2 years of manufacturing/distribution experience and a HS diploma, with a supervisory degree preferred. Responsibilities include policy implementation, process improvements and effective team leadership in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• 2 years in a manufacturing or distribution center environment, Required
• High School Diploma or equivalent, Required
• Associate degree in Supervisory Management or related field, Desired
• Previous experience in supervision, Preferred
• Experience in Manufacturing or warehouse equipment and department processes desired.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and assign work activities in a manufacturing or distribution department.
• Support and implement policies and procedures and recommend improvements in operation methods, equipment, people, materials and working conditions.
• May require extended periods of standing or walking on concrete floors and use of PPE such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots.
