Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Manager of Foam Fabrication to lead foam production operations across departments, ensuring safety, quality, and cost objectives. You will mentor Supervisors, coordinate with Planning, HR, Quality, and Supply Chain, and drive continuous improvement to optimize production flow and workforce performance.

Responsibilities include directing operations, shaping schedules, and improving processes with a focus on Lean methods and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in foam production or a related environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, capacity planning, and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Direct foam manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, and service targets.
• Manage production schedules, staffing, workflow, and cross-shift coordination.
• Develop new processes and improve product quality through collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Maintain high standards of organization, cleanliness, and 5S practices.
