Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to direct multi-shift manufacturing activities and lead a team of managers and supervisors. You will drive production efficiency, cost control, quality improvement, and safety across multiple work centers and processes.

You will collaborate with planning, purchasing, HR, and quality teams to align with plant goals, mentor staff, and maintain SOPs. A strong leadership mindset and manufacturing experience are essential.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience.
10 years in a manufacturing role.
Management experience.
Obtain Powered Industrial Vehicle license.
Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Quality Improvement principles and system Improvement Methods.
Capacity planning and product flow.
Active industrial manufacturing and distribution center with moderate to high noise levels and PPE requirements.

Mansioni

Direct daily activities of Operations Managers and Supervisors on multiple shifts.
Direct production activities for multiple work centers and processes.
Lead and mentor production managers and supervisors to meet production, cost, quality and safety goals.
Plan forward capacity with Purchaising and Inventory Control to meet production and financial objectives.
Partner with safety, quality, and maintenance teams to optimize operations and reduce waste.
Oversee budget for the functional area and drive cost-effective operations.
