Honda Federal Credit Union is seeking a Business Development Officer to lead the Southeast region, forging executive-level relationships with Honda dealerships and driving indirect lending profitability. You will coordinate training plans, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate with management to optimize member acquisition and retention while ensuring compliance.

The role requires travel up to 50%, a bachelor’s degree, and 5–7 years in related finance roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in consumer finance, indirect lending, business development, dealership relationship management, or financial services sales.
• Experience developing and executing business development strategies to drive loan growth, membership growth, and profitability.
• Valid driver’s license with an approved driving record.
• Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with dealerships, developing and implementing business and training plans to improve indirect lending profitability, member retention, and promote a positive member and dealership experience.
• Serve as a liaison to HFCU management to identify resources and maximize branch support.
• Research and recommend opportunities for HFCU participation in Honda Family or community events.
• Develop and coordinate Community Social Responsibility action plans with HondaGo and Honda.
• Participate in and lead HFCU community activities.
• Close loans and provide additional financial services as needed.
• Adhere to compliance policies and monitor portfolio performance and profitability.
