Job summary

Indiana Members Credit Union is seeking a Business Development Officer (BDO) to generate new business by building sponsor relations with member companies and soliciting new sponsor affiliations.

The BDO will prospect leads for treasury management and commercial loans, work with branch managers, perform presentations, and travel within Indiana to grow membership and products. The role includes a base salary with incentives and requires strong sales, communication, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use computers and learn new tools quickly.
• Strong listening and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with sponsor affiliations, schools, and municipalities.
• Sell sponsor benefits and recruit new member applications and product signups.
• Provide leads to Commercial Services for treasury management and lending opportunities.
• Maintain CRM records of communications with sponsors and clients.
• Travel within Indiana to branch locations and events.
• Collaborate with branches and Online Account teams as needed.
• Represent IMCU at sponsor and community meetings to grow membership.
