Job summary

Beacon Modular is seeking a Business Development Manager to identify, develop, and secure new opportunities for modular electrical solutions. The role targets data center, mission critical, and industrial markets, engaging owners, developers, GCs, EPC firms, and engineers to build long-term relationships.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in sales or BD within construction/manufacturing, strong prospecting skills, and an established network in data centers.

Qualifications

• Established contacts within mission critical, hyperscale, colocation, or data center markets.
• 5+ years in business development, outside sales, account management, or related fields.
• Proven ability to independently generate leads, secure meetings, and advance sales pursuits.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.
• Develop and maintain an active pipeline of prospective customers and projects.
• Generate leads via outbound calls, targeted emails, referrals, networking, site visits, and events.
• Maintain frequent contact with prospects and persistently follow up.
• Schedule customer meetings, facility tours, and discovery sessions.
• Track leads, contacts, and opportunities in CRM or sales tools.
• Attend industry events to expand market presence and relationships.
