Job summary

TAS Energy, a Houston-based leader in modular energy and data center solutions, seeks a Sr. Electrical Engineer to lead electrical scope design across modular components. You will define diagrams, BOMs, and specifications, driving precision and manufacturability.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams ensures adherence to standards and on-time delivery. Seeking 8–10 years of relevant experience, CAD proficiency, and a willingness to relocate to support hybrid operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering from an accredited program.
• 8–10 years of electrical engineering experience in power distribution, modular construction, data centers, or building systems design.
• Hands-on knowledge of switchgear, panels, VFDs, motors, UPS, cables and conduits.
• Ability to work on production floor locations; relocation and hybrid work are required.
• Experience with NEC, IEC, NFPA codes and electrical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modular components and systems for manufacturing processes.
• Act as Electrical SME on data center/modular skid design projects.
• Produce one-line diagrams, point-to-point schematics, BOMs, and related documentation.
• Collaborate with Design team using CAD tools to create 3D models and drawings.
• Provide technical support to production during manufacturing, assembly, and installation.
