Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager 3, Business Development – Strategy & Program Development (MDC2) in Falls Church, VA to lead enterprise strategy and new business growth for advanced communications programs, including E-2D production and future development.

You will collaborate across executive leadership and program management, shaping Maryland to DoD and Navy opportunities while managing customer engagements and multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Requires 10 years or more in business development, strategy, capture management, or program management in defense/aerospace.
• Knowledge of DoD and Navy procurement processes.
• Experience with E-2D, MDC2, and/or C2 mission requirements.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams and driving winning strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development for MDC2 portfolio across multiple program teams.
• Grow opportunity pipeline through DoN and Navy-focused campaigns.
• Oversee BAP activities including growth strategy, qualification, pursuit prioritization, and capture plans.
• Engage with government representatives and Northrop Grumman leadership to translate requirements into differentiating solutions.
• Develop mission discriminators through innovative architectures and strategic plans.
• Represent NG at conferences and industry events to strengthen relationships.
• Promote BD best practices and mentor cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and government regulations.
