Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a strategic Business Development Manager 3 within the Advanced Tactical Missions unit. You will lead BD for advanced communications programs, shape opportunities, and guide cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into winning solutions.

The role requires a STEM or business degree, 10+ years in BD/capture, and a current Top Secret/SCI clearance. Travel up to 25% is expected; relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, business, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of combined experience with a bachelor’s, or 8+ years with a master’s, in BD, capture, and proposals.
• 5+ years in capture management, BD, or proposal leadership for defense/aerospace programs.
• Current Top Secret/SCI clearance and ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead BD and capture for AC&S programs across DoD, USSF, and IC.
• Develop BD strategy, qualification, pursuit plans, and review gates.
• Engage customers and translate mission needs into discriminating solutions.
• Lead cross-functional teams to shape architectures and cost solutions.
• Represent the company at trade shows/conferences and white papers.
