Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a results-driven sales leader to grow our US events and sports portfolio. You will identify opportunities, manage the full selling lifecycle, and convert prospects into clients by presenting our complete Sports and Experience Studio capabilities.

You will own RFI/RFP processes, pricing, and contracting while collaborating with cross-functional teams to win high-value engagements.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in sales negotiations and closing in corporate gatherings or sports events.
• Minimum 5 years in a business development role with a track record of generating revenue.
• Experience with live experiential events and the sports sector.
• Strong ability to liaise with C-level and other stakeholders; excellent networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and drive prospects through the selling lifecycle in US live corporate events and Sports market.
• Lead RFI and RFP responses, pricing, negotiations, and contracting as bid captain.
• Create high quality pitch responses to win new business and deliver compelling presentations.
