Cooley LLP is seeking a Business Development Driver Senior Specialist to join the Marketing and Client Development team in a hybrid setting in the Chicago area.

You will support account growth strategies, track campaigns, and prepare client meeting materials, ensuring timely follow-up and pipeline discipline. The role requires 4+ years in BD, Salesforce expertise, and strong analytical abilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years directly applicable experience in marketing or business development.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise CRM ecosystems (Salesforce).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and iManage.
• Willingness to work extended hours and travel as required.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Experience in legal industry or professional services (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Account & Opportunity Support: execute research and planning to shape opportunity strategies.
• Integrated Campaign Execution: track campaigns and manage lead flow for BD actions.
• Client Engagement Preparation: create briefing materials and meeting prep kits.
• Post-Meeting Action Planning: translate discussions into documented action plans.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: bridge BD, Marketing and pursuit teams.
• Opportunity Momentum: maintain pipeline momentum with follow-up and coordination.
• Pipeline Data & Discipline: track activity and account actions for leadership reviews.
• Progress Visibility: provide updated view of team priorities and status.
• Standardized BD Support: follow workflows and refine team-wide execution standards.
• All other duties as assigned or required.
