Job summary

Verkor seeks a Battery Pack Architect to define and govern the system architecture of battery packs. You will balance electrical, thermal, mechanical, and safety constraints to deliver safe, high-performing, manufacturable, and cost-effective solutions.

You will act as a cross-functional technical leader and guarantor of the system-level vision, driving architecture decisions, leading design reviews, and managing requirements and KPIs across multi-domain interfaces with a focus on EV-pack

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in battery system architecture, with at least 5 years owning system architecture on complete pack programs.
Fluent English mandatory.
Willingness to travel to customers and suppliers internationally.
Experience with EV OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or pack integrators is preferred.

Responsibilities

Define the overall battery pack architecture and ensure coherence across electrical, thermal, mechanical, and safety domains.
Drive architectural trade-offs considering performance, cost, risk, manufacturability and industrial constraints.
Cascade system requirements and manage traceability across the PLM environment.
Define and monitor KPIs for the battery pack and lead design reviews.
Lead multi-domain integration for cells, BMS, thermal system and HV components.
