Job summary

Gotion Inc. is seeking a senior staff-level battery systems engineer to lead high-voltage battery development and integration across cell, pack, and BMS interfaces.

You will translate vehicle requirements into system targets, own DFMEA, and drive cross-functional trade studies with engineering teams and OEM partners. You will define verification approaches, support design reviews, and mentor junior engineers while helping to meet program milestones and production readiness for next-gen EV

Qualifications

7+ years of EV battery or automotive systems experience.
Strong HV battery architecture knowledge.
Ability to translate OEM requirements into system targets.
Experience with DFMEA and system-level reviews.
Excellent communication with OEMs.
Experience with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead system-level battery development and integration.
Translate requirements into battery-system specs across components.
Own requirement traceability and change impact.
Define performance targets (energy, power, temp, aging, safety).
Lead architecture trades and risk reviews.
Coordinate inputs from cross-functional teams into a system solution.
Support vehicle launch and production ramp.
Mentor engineers across programs.
