Necessary Ventures is seeking a seasoned mechanical engineer to lead the design of battery packs, including architecture, enclosures, and thermal management. You will collaborate with electrical engineers to integrate cells, busbars, and BMS into vessel hulls.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in mechanical engineering with 3+ years in battery pack design, strong CAD NX skills, FEA proficiency, and a solid understanding of HV safety and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Lead the mechanical design of battery packs from concept to production.
• Proficiency in CAD NX and FEA required.
• Strong understanding of high voltage battery safety and manufacturing.
