Job summary
Amgen is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer for BAS and Warehouse Systems in Ohio. You will lead automation maintenance, develop control systems, and support GMP facilities in a high-volume biotech environment.

Qualifications
- Doctorate or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Biotech or related field with automation experience.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with automation experience in GMP biopharma.
- Extensive knowledge of programming, design, installation, lifecycle management of automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Follow safety and cGMP policies.
- Determine Automation Systems specifications.
- Lead contractors on maintenance and CMMS management (Maximo).
- Ensure preventive maintenance for automation systems.
- Develop and maintain building control automation and automated warehouse systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
- Support projects integrating new drug production technologies.
- Lead root-cause analysis for process control issues.
- Drive continuous improvement: safety, reliability, efficiency, environment.
