Job summary

Amgen Ohio seeks a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Systems Engineering to lead the team responsible for the performance, reliability, and expansion of automated warehouse systems. You will oversee ASRS, AGVs, AutoStore, conveyors, and SAP EWM interfaces with manufacturing lines.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or master’s degree with engineering/automation/manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years in engineering/automation/manufacturing/logistics.
• Associates or high school diploma with significant experience (12+ years).
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams in a manufacturing/distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers, technicians, and system owners to ensure 24/7 automated warehouse reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement, lifecycle planning, and system integration for ASRS/AGVs/AutoStore.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and vendors for incident response and upgrades.
