Carrier is seeking an Associate Controls Engineer to design and program building automation systems tailored to customer needs. You will work on site with a team to deliver control configurations, interfaces, and testing across projects.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, time management, and the ability to take ownership of smaller-scale projects while supporting sales and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of industry experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing or engineering.
• Associate degree in an engineering or technical field.

Responsibilities

• Design and program building automation systems, site-specific control configurations, and control algorithms.
• Adhere to project requirements, technical specifications, and company/customer standards.
• Create, document, and maintain clear technical design documents and revision logs for project teams.
• Develop graphical and text-based user interfaces for building automation systems.
• Perform pre-implementation testing on control programming and user interfaces.
• Provide technical support to sales representatives to ensure customer technical requirements are met.
• Identify and communicate project opportunities, risks, and functional testing needs.
