Job summary

Jamul Casino is looking for a motivated food and beverage team member to deliver friendly service, pour drinks, and handle cash with precision. You will adhere to alcohol service guidelines, participate in pre-shift briefings, and work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree (A.A.) in culinary or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of four years culinary experience in multiple venues; supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines.
• Prepare and pour drink orders with proper portions and ingredients; present drinks to guests or servers as required.
• Operate a cash register/POS System; ensure correct cash handling and reporting.
• Maintain a clean and stocked workstation; comply with health and safety guidelines.
• Attend pre-shift meetings and uphold uniform, appearance, and grooming standards.
• Collaborate with servers, hosts, supervisors, and kitchen staff for smooth operations.
• Possess TiPS and RBS certifications and obtain gaming license as required.
