Job summary

1st Security Bank is seeking a Senior Business Development Officer to drive growth by selling a full range of banking services and expanding business relationships in the Puget Sound area. The role emphasizes proactive prospecting, closing sales, and maintaining an active pipeline to support branch goals.

You will collaborate with other teams and may lead cross-training for Personal Bankers while delivering WOW customer service both internally and externally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; at least two years experience in a sales role within a financial institution.
• Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering policies and related programs.
• Must be bondable.

Responsibilities

• Sell a full range of banking services and products with emphasis on growing business relationships.
• Lead sales as designated in the branch and maintain an active business pipeline.
• Open new accounts for businesses and households per bank policies, including CIP and BSA.
• Cross-sell bank products and services to businesses and households; travel to assigned locations as needed.
