Job summary

Santander Consumer USA Inc. is seeking a Branch Leader in the United States (CT) to drive sales, client engagement and operational excellence at the Banking Center. You will lead a team to meet service and revenue goals, coach staff, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies.

The role requires banking experience, strong leadership, and a focus on customer service. This is a full-time onsite position with the Santander Benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of banking experience with leadership and customer service emphasis.
• Intricate knowledge of retail banking products and services.
• Strong customer service, relationship building, and communication skills.
• Experience in organizing and managing a team and daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed sales and retention goals and set team targets.
• Develop and manage detailed business plans and branch goals.
• Expand and retain client relationships; cross-sell and resolve issues.
• Coach and hold team accountable; provide development and feedback.
• Ensure audits and compliance with bank policies and laws.
• Schedule shifts to meet customer needs and maintain coverage.
• Lead onboarding and training of new colleagues.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
