Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking a Senior Department Manager for our Atlanta bakery manufacturing facility. You will lead a high-performing team of production leaders and associates, collaborating with cross-functional partners to optimize processes and drive operational excellence while focusing on safety and quality.

This role offers growth within a respected, employee-owned company. Ideal candidates have extensive manufacturing leadership experience, a background in Engineering or Food

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; 3 years in production environment; 3 years manufacturing leadership.
• Must obtain and maintain Certified Food Safety Manager certification.
• Willingness to work variable schedule including nights, holidays and weekends.
• Must be on call 24/7 and able to travel with overnight stays.
• Strong managerial and leadership skills; safety and GMP knowledge.
