Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years' experience as a supervisor or specialist.
• Strong knowledge of products, buying, pricing, merchandising, and inventory management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organizational and math skills.
• Ability to follow recipes and directions.
• Ability to taste and evaluate products for quality.
• Team-oriented with mentoring skills.
• Proactive problem solving and initiative.
• Ability to learn equipment used during food preparation and cleanup.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production of baked goods with accuracy in mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking.
• Maintain quality and production standards; follow schedule; print formulas.
• Record temperature and time data accurately.
• Interview, train, develop, and mentor Team Members; maintain positive morale.
• Maintain HACCP, FSMA and SSOP procedures and standards.
• Achieve budgeted expense levels and manage costs.
• Incorporate new products into the product mix.
• Manage buying and vendor relationships; collaborate with store leadership.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures; ensure equipment sanitation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
