Publix Manufacturing seeks a Senior Department Manager to lead a high-performing team at a fresh kitchen facility. You will drive operational excellence, partner with cross-functional teams, and develop leaders while prioritizing safety, quality, and process optimization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years in a production environment.
• 3 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Ability to obtain Certified Food Safety Manager certification.
• Strong managerial and leadership skills.
• Willingness to work a variable schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• On-call 24 hours/7 days per week.
• Willingness to travel with overnight stays.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements for safety.
• Knowledge of GMPs for safe production.
• Ability to be innovative.
• Ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong planning and follow-through.
• Ability to develop a vision for the production department.
• Independent, self-motivated, and integrity-driven.
