Robinhood is building the future of finance and seeks a Staff Software Developer for the Backend Platform in New York City. You will set technical direction, lead multi-team initiatives, and design scalable platform capabilities such as service frameworks and developer tooling.

Extensive experience building and scaling backend systems using Go and Python.
Deep knowledge of backend frameworks such as Django, gRPC or comparable systems in Go.
Experience designing internal platforms, developer tooling, or shared infrastructure used by multiple teams.

Responsabilidades

Define and lead large-scale initiatives that improve backend development systems, including frameworks, tooling, and shared libraries.
Design long-term technical solutions that support scalability, reliability, and maintainability across backend services.
Guide the evolution of core tooling such as static analysis, formatting systems, and service scaffolding used across the codebase.
Partner with engineering teams to plan and execute platform improvements.
Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance that improves code quality and development practices.
