Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer, Developer Infrastructure, to drive the technical direction of DevX, TestX, Backend Platform, and Mobile Platform. You’ll own the Bazel-based build infra, scale CI/CD, and weave AI into the software lifecycle to multiply engineer velocity.

You will operate across multiple teams from an epicenter role in New York City or Menlo Park, with a strong emphasis on architectural leadership, security, and scalable tooling.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering with Senior Staff, Principal, or Distinguished Engineer level.
• Deep expertise with Bazel and large-scale monorepo build systems.
• Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines at massive scale.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and roadmap for the Developer Infrastructure org across multiple teams.
• Scale and optimize Bazel-based monorepo build infrastructure and remote build execution.
• Scale CI/CD pipelines to support thousands of daily builds with fast feedback.
• Drive the TestX test infrastructure and environments for safe testing at scale.
• Champion AI and agentic systems across the SDLC to boost developer velocity.
• Set technical standards across language runtimes, libraries, IDE tooling, and security.
• Partner with leadership to define and execute a long-term developer infrastructure roadmap.
