Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and operate core backend platforms for high-throughput services. This role emphasizes scalable, low-latency systems and durable event processing across multiple engineering teams.

The candidate will lead platform initiatives, mentor engineers, and help shape internal developer experience, with a strong focus on reliability and performance in a remote, nationwide setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• 11+ years of professional backend or platform engineering experience.
• Demonstrated track record building and operating internal platforms or shared services consumed by multiple engineering teams.
• Strong, hands-on expertise designing distributed systems with focus on consistency, availability, latency, and failure modes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate foundational backend platform capabilities for high-throughput systems.
• Own request routing, traffic management, data fan-out, caching, asynchronous job execution, and durable event processing.
• Lead multi-quarter platform initiatives across teams and communicate trade-offs clearly.
