Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies in the United States is seeking a Senior Server-Side Engineer to design, build, and operate foundational backend platforms and shared services that other teams rely on to deliver their products.

You will work on high-throughput routing, traffic management, data fan-out, caching, asynchronous jobs, and durable event processing to ensure low latency and scalable performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of backend, platform, or software engineering experience.
• Experience designing distributed systems and internal platforms.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, Scala, Rust, or C++.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven tech (Kafka/Pulsar/NATS).
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate foundational backend platforms and shared services used by other teams.
• Develop high-throughput routing, data fan-out, caching, and durable event processing.
• Ensure latency targets are met and operational toil is minimized.
• Collaborate across teams and mentor junior engineers.
