Job summary

Truelogic Software LLC is seeking a Senior Back-End Engineer/MLOps to join a Marketplace team blending full-stack engineering with machine learning operations. You will build and maintain backend systems powering search, ranking, and matching while supporting ML pipelines and real-time data infrastructure.

Collaborate with data scientists and engineers across time zones to bring ML into production reliably and at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend or full-stack focus.
• Strong backend skills in Go, Python, Ruby, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps or production ML systems (Vertex AI, MLflow, Kubeflow).
• Experience with feature stores (e.g., Chalk) for ML features.
• Strong SQL skills and data/feature pipelines.
• Cloud experience across GCP/AWS/Azure, with GCP preferred.
• Solid ML concepts and model deployment knowledge.
• Strong debugging, ownership mindset and clear communication.
• Ability to collaborate across time zones with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with search/ranking/recommendation systems or real-time/latency optimization.
• Experience in online marketplaces and AI-assisted tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack features for marketplace products (search, ranking, user experiences).
• Develop and support ML Ops infrastructure, including deployment pipelines and feature stores.
• Collaborate with data scientists to productionize ML models at scale.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to technical planning and break down complex problems.
• Identify and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues.
• Work with data pipelines, SQL, and experimentation frameworks.
• Communicate progress clearly and coordinate with distributed teams across time zones.
