Job summary

Match Group is seeking a Software Engineer III on the Shared Services team in Dallas. You will design, build, and maintain reusable backend services and APIs consumed by multiple Match Group brands.

Collaborate with Product, Design, and engineers across Android, iOS, and Web to turn platform needs into shared solutions. You’ll participate in technical design discussions for large-scale cloud-native systems and ensure scalability, reliability, and quality through testing and architecture reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience building shared platforms or services used by multiple teams or brands.
• Strong backend experience with C#/.NET and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of microservices and distributed architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reusable backend services and APIs used across multiple brands.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and platform engineers to translate needs into shared solutions.
• Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions for large-scale cloud-native systems.
• Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and thorough testing as it grows.
• Possibly contribute to mobile feature development over time to maximize impact.
