Job summary

Match Group is seeking a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer for our Shared Services team in Dallas. You’ll design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs consumed by multiple brands; collaborate across Product, Design, and platform/mobile engineers to create shared, scalable solutions.

Expect to work with microservices and distributed architectures, with potential expansion into mobile features. The role emphasizes a strong craft mindset, ownership, and collaboration in a hybrid Dallas

Qualifications

• Proven experience building backend services in C#/.NET and REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of microservices and distributed architectures.
• Relational databases experience (SQL Server, Postgres) and data modeling.
• Experience with caching (Redis) and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with testable, DI, unit/integration testing and CI.
• Ability to break down complex requirements and estimate work.
• Strong communication with cross-functional teams including Product/Design/QA.
• Interest in mobile development (Kotlin/Android or Swift/iOS) for cross-platform impact.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs used by multiple brands.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Android, iOS, and Web engineers to turn needs into shared solutions.
• Lead technical design and architecture discussions for cloud-native systems.
• Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and thorough testing as it grows.
• Mentor peers and extend expertise into mobile feature development over time.
