Job summary

Match Group is hiring a versatile engineer for a mobile platform (iOS or Android) and the backend/full-stack. You will instrument apps, build server-side services, and contribute to marketing operations tooling across the Match Group portfolio.

This ground-floor role offers exposure to AI-native marketing workflows and the chance to shape foundations and standards as the team grows. Ideal for someone who loves marketing tech and end-to-end ownership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building and shipping production software, with hands-on experience on iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin), including SDK integration and the App Store / Play Store release lifecycle.
• Full-stack / backend experience: building APIs and server-side services in a modern language (Node, Python, Go, or Kotlin).
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD.
• Demonstrated ability to take ambiguous or unowned problems and drive them to resolution.
• Active, effective use of AI tooling to ramp on unfamiliar code and ship faster.
• Comfort owning your work end to end and moving between the client and the backend.
• Interest in building MCP servers/tools to expose our platforms to Claude and other agents.

Responsibilities

• MarTech implementation: maintaining the foundational MarTech stack on clients, including event instrumentation and consent handling.
• Marketing operations tooling: building platforms and services marketers use, such as programmatic ad-platform management and audience syncing.
• Developing AI/agent-driven workflows and MCPs to support marketing operations.
