You will lead backend design, ensure performance, reliability, and observability, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, high‑quality solutions in a cloud environment. Remote-friendly, with a strong engineering culture and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping production software.
• 3+ years backend distributed systems design and delivery.
• 3+ years microservice architectures experience.
• Cloud environments with Kubernetes and AWS hosting.
• CI/CD with unit and integration tests.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable backend solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive architectural decisions.
• Participate in product discovery and define features with prototypes.
• Implement observability, logging, monitoring and alerting.
• Drive performance optimization and reliability improvements.
• Contribute to architecture documentation and code reviews.
• Support hiring and onboarding of new engineers.
