Job summary

Hims & Hers is hiring a remote Senior Engineer, Fullstack/Frontend to design and implement scalable web experiences and robust backend services. You will own end-to-end development across the stack, collaborating with product, design, and data teams to deliver meaningful patient-focused features.

You will work with React/Next.js on the frontend and Node.js/Nest.js on the backend, leveraging GraphQL, Redis, and Postgres to build reliable systems with strong observability and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience building production web products with strong full stack skills in React/Next.js and Node/TypeScript (or similar).
• Proficiency in front end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Next.js, GraphQL) and back end technologies (Node.js, Nest.js, PostgresDB, Redis, Amazon SQS).
• Track record of shipping experiment driven features and working with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable, performant full stack solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers on best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive interfaces and ensure accessibility, performance, and reliability.
• Build and maintain integrations with external partners and internal systems with strong data privacy and compliance considerations.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
