Job summary

Ksana Health is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs for our SaaS products. You will collaborate with business and product stakeholders to translate requirements into robust architectures while mentoring junior developers.

You will work in an Agile environment, implement CI/CD practices, and leverage Azure, AWS, GraphQL, and Postgres to deliver high-quality software. The role is remote with emphasis on health equity.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of technical experience including hands-on programming and technical design.
• Significant backend SaaS experience.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud services.
• Experience with SQL databases and RESTful APIs.
• Willingness to mentor junior developers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and product stakeholders to understand requirements and design secure, scalable solutions.
• Contribute to high-level architecture, documentation, and data schema designs.
• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs for SaaS products.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and guide team adherence to best practices.
• Work in an Agile environment and mentor software engineers and data scientists.
• Ensure effective cross-team communication to meet business goals.
