Nourish is seeking Senior Backend Engineers to join our growing team in San Francisco. You’ll own major parts of the core platform, collaborating with product, design, and analytics to build scalable features that transform patient care and insurance workflows.

As an early member of the engineering team, you will drive architecture, delivery timelines, and cross-pod initiatives. This full-time hybrid role welcomes remote candidates, with the SF office as a base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years as a Backend-focused Software Engineer building high-performance internal platforms.
• 3+ years using our stack: Typescript, Node.js, Prisma, PostgreSQL, AWS.
• Demonstrated ability to ship features independently and meet ambitious timelines.
• Strong collaboration with product/design/analytics in a data-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship cutting-edge products and features at high speed.
• Drive continuous improvements in engineering processes, tools, and systems.
• Collaborate across product, design, engineering, and analytics to solve complex problems.
• Contribute to estimations, planning, and execution of projects and integrations.
• Maintain and elevate backend services and infrastructure with quality tests.
• Write clean, fully-tested, high-performance code that sets the standard.
