Job summary

Air Apps is hiring a Back-end NodeJS Developer to design and maintain server-side solutions for our mobile apps. You will interface with cloud services, NoSQL and SQL databases, and third-party APIs while upholding high standards for performance, privacy, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional NodeJS development experience
• Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Understanding of asynchronous and event-driven programming
• Proficiency in Typescript
• Experience with Git Flow, CI/CD, unit testing, and TDD
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
• Self-motivated, able to work independently
• Strong DB design skills and data privacy awareness

Responsibilities

• Write reusable, testable, clear, and efficient code
• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability backend processes
• Integrate third-party services, cloud services, and data storage (NoSQL/SQL)
• Ensure data privacy and security across backend solutions
• Run diagnostic tests, fix bugs, and improve underperforming code
• Document processes, integrations, and DB schemas
• Stay updated on Backend, NodeJS trends and best practices
• Propose improvements to processes and technologies
