Air Apps is seeking a Backend QA Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our backend systems. You will focus on testing APIs, databases, and services while collaborating with engineers to uphold high quality.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of experience with Node.js/TypeScript in backend environments, testing REST APIs, and validating data integrity with PostgreSQL. Join us in strengthening our testing strategy and reliability.

Formación

• 2–3 years of experience in backend testing or software development in test roles.
• Experience with Node.js and TypeScript in backend contexts.
• Familiarity with SQL databases, especially PostgreSQL, and validating data integrity.
• Experience testing REST APIs with tools like Postman/Swagger.
• Understanding of backend testing practices including API and integration testing.

Responsabilidades

• Design and execute tests for backend systems including APIs and databases.
• Validate API functionality and performance using Postman/Swagger or similar tools.
• Test and verify database operations and data integrity in PostgreSQL or similar systems.
• Review pull requests to ensure code quality and test coverage.
• Support development of automated tests for backend services and infrastructure.
