The Senior Backend Engineer will own backend services, mentor teammates, and advocate for engineering-forward culture while delivering fast, scalable products.

With 8+ years in web development, you’ll craft secure RESTful APIs and scalable systems, while embracing Agile practices and ownership of your work within a 100% remote environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience building web applications.
• 4+ years experience with Node/TypeScript.
• Experience designing scalable architectures for high-performance web delivery.
• Ability to engineer simple, elegant solutions to complex problems.
• Experience designing and engineering secure RESTful APIs.
• Experience estimating and tracking tasks using Agile methodologies.
• Eager to learn and apply new technologies.
• Strong ownership and accountability for own work.

Responsibilities

• Build backend services and infrastructure for client products.
