Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of professional backend software development experience.
• Strong programming experience with Java, Kotlin, or comparable languages such as Python or .NET.
• Deep understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with relational databases and strong SQL skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and track record of delivering production software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Comfortable learning new technologies and adapting to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers, frontend engineers, and stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services within Payments & Partnerships domain.
• Take ownership of features from requirements gathering through production deployment and ongoing support.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-tested code with emphasis on quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with team members to rapidly iterate on new functionality and product enhancements.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical improvements across the platform.
• Utilize AI-powered development tools to improve efficiency and accelerate experimentation.
• Support CI/CD processes to deliver software reliably and frequently.
