Job summary

BlueThrone is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to own backend problems across a portfolio of products. You will design, build, run, and improve backend services in a Go-centric environment, with exposure to Node.js and Python and a focus on scalable architecture.

You will work across product teams, resolve production incidents, and help shape infrastructure used by multiple services. The role is remote-first with global collaboration across time zones and products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend engineering experience and ownership of backend systems
• Ability to reason about system-wide trade-offs and production readiness
• Experience with databases beyond ORM usage and with production services

• Take problems from unclear starting point through architecture, implementation, deployment, and iteration
