Job summary

Compass International Holdings is seeking a Sr Backend Engineer with Go and TypeScript experience to build the Integrated Services ecosystem. You will own features end-to-end, collaborate with product teams, and ensure scalable, secure integrations across platforms including Home Platform, Salesforce, and legacy stores.

The role emphasizes data integration, microservices architecture, and modern CI/CD practices. Remote-friendly with international eligibility across ARG/URY/MEX audiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building high-performance software with Go and TypeScript/Node.js
• Experience designing and implementing microservices that are scalable and fault-tolerant
• Proficiency with cloud technologies (AWS) and event-driven systems like Kafka
• Strong knowledge of modern CI/CD tooling and Git-based workflows
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular or React is a plus
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (ClaudeCode) and related workflows

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end from design to deployment and production support
• Collaborate with product managers to translate requirements into technical designs
• Solve data architecture challenges including ingestion and deduplication across systems
• Contribute to cross-domain technical work and data integration with Salesforce
• Ensure security and compliance in partner integrations
• Share knowledge and participate in design reviews
