Job summary

CommandLink is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own substantial backend components in Go and Python. You will build services and data pipelines used by Fortune 1000 customers, and mentor engineers while shaping architectural direction.

You will work 100% remotely with an international team, collaborating across services, data ingestion, and telemetry pipelines, while driving production reliability and long-term improvements.

Qualifications

Significant professional experience building and operating production backend systems.
Deep knowledge of Go and Python.
Experience with design of distributed systems and APIs.
Mentoring and leading technical design discussions.

Responsibilities

Own large components, services, or projects end to end.
Design scalable, reliable backend solutions prioritizing maintainability.
Build APIs and data pipelines across services and telemetry.
Lead production incident response, post-mortems, and long-term fixes.
Mentor engineers and guide architectural decisions across teams.
Drive design discussions and reduce over-engineering.
