Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years backend with Java/JEE, Spring Boot and Node.js.
• Experience building RESTful microservices and distributed systems.
• 3+ years deploying on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using cloud-native patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices with Java/JEE and Spring Boot.
• Implement event-driven patterns using Kafka and ensure data validation.
• Model data with JSON and ensure backward compatibility and versioning.
• Build/maintain CI/CD pipelines with testing, analysis, and deployment.
• Collaborate with Security/DevOps to integrate automated security controls.
• Apply 12‑factor, IaC, and config management best practices.
• Integrate services with healthcare data standards and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Own production readiness including reliability, latency, and cost efficiency.
